So Tuesday we actually got to meet with Chad finally. We talked about the plan of salvation with him and he loved it. He still wants to be baptized but he didn't make it to church so now will have to push it back again into July. Afterwards we went and did Bingo with the elderly people! Elder Brammer kept yawning the whole time and the people would get made because he wouldn't say the numbers fast enough. Then we met with Stacy and her family. Her husband and mother are non members. I kept teasing them that we are gonna baptize them. Sounds like they have already talked with missionaries a million time before though. Had dinner by ourselves pretty much this whole week because our dinner calendar lady didn't pass around the calendar last sunday... We got so hungry this last Saturday! I ate all my corn dogs....
Wednesday we did some exchanges. Elder Glenn came to our area with me. We tracted probably for 5 hours just cause I was too lazy to plan for anything else. Poor Elder Glenn hated it.. He kept asking if we could take breaks and stuff in the shade. I guess he gets heat exhaustion pretty easy or something like that. We met a few cool people and one guy yelled at us. I was trying to ask if he knew any neighbors we could go by but kept yelling NO! So after he quieted down I told him to have a good day... to which he replied, "I will once you leave" Oh my goodness. These people are so charitable here. We met with Robert again. That was like pulling teeth. We did the can trick that you showed us and even smashed his finger too. He thought it was pretty cool. We did have dinner with John and Marilyn Call who are from Ely but moved when they were in high school if I remember right. Then I took Elder Glenn to the 7th Day Adventist bible study to show him what it is all about. They were super nice this time too! Maybe it will be a regular thing.
Thursday we went to the mission home so that Elder Brammer could do a last interview with Pres. Mendenhall before they both go home. Elder Brammer goes home in August but pres wanted to see everyone one more time that goes home then. Thursday was another really long day of knocking doors. We did try and go by YSA people but people like you knocking on doors in apartments a lot less than regular neighborhoods. We didn't get kicked out at all thoughs o that's good :) We met with Anthony that night who is still the same as usual.
Friday we met with Devin who is a recent convert. He is super solid. He's gonna be active for the rest of his life he is so solid. Then it started raining a ton so we stuck to driving house to house haha. We were supposed to have a lesson at 7pm with some other missionaries passing off a ysa but they cancelled so you know that means more tracting! We did meet with Jim who is less active. I wish he came to church because he knows that the church is true but just doesn't want to quit smoking.... Ayy.
Saturday we did some District Meeting and then had a lesson with Corina. The rest of the day wasn't too exciting. We met with a guy who told us to come back but turns out he was just a less active member. He has some wicked cool model tanks though. Had dinner at Panda Express with Brother Palmer.
Sunday was all the same as usual.Afterwards we had dinner with Bishop of Arvada 4th. Then went tracting and by some names after dinner. It was a pretty normal day. No one even got mad or upset at us! They were all very nice to us!
So that's the week. Another week.. another dollar right? haha. As of today though I only have 100 days to go until I go home. Not like I'm counting or anything but just thought I'd let you know! Tomorrow we start the double digits countdown!
Love you!
