Blessed Are Those Who Hunger and Thirst for Righteousness, for They Will Be Filled.

Well, Fun fact. Today (or yesterday as the case may be) is the first day of Summer and happens to also be the Summer Equinox. So it's the longest day of the year. Oh and also the Strawberry moon. Which is the full moon in June. Just marks the beginning of the Strawberry season. It's just cool because the Strawberry moon only occurs on the same day of the Summer Equinox every 70 years. It's a once in a lifetime Experience :)

Looks like you had fun hiking! I hope to be able to go hiking out here at least once. Since we now have Boulder in our mission maybe there's a bigger chance that I will be able to. I guess the real question is did Tye like the hike? I didn't even know there were ticks up there!! So many trips made up there but I haven't got a tick.

That's cool you did that for the missionary. I love it when people do that for me. And no one said we couldn't. After all the rules are... I can't call home. Not my companion call my home... So It's more of a don't ask and don't tell policy type of thing. That looks like a successful gift!! That's so awesome! I'm sure that has plenty of days of fun in it.

Psh. Josh already thinks he's the greatest. I don't think anything will get to his head. ;)

They don't look to excited for trek. I think the 14 hour bus ride alone is a trek in itself. Let alone having to do it again after walking for a week straight.

Yeah this week was pretty busy! Went by pretty fast. And we try to keep it (the car) clean but we don't try too hard as that costs money. It's only worth cleaning the car every two months or so when it matters because that's zone conference time!

Well there's a couple of experiences (where he can see the Spirit at work) that I remember. We were debating on whether to go home or try by a referral we had. It was about 8:50or 8:55. Can't remember. So we went and tried by the person. They didn't answer but we taught someone else that was out watering their lawn with their hose. And then last Saturday we were wondering who to stop by. There were these people that are hardcore not interested but we thought we should visit them anyway and we did and Alla (the mom) invited us in for lunch. They still aren't interested as they are pretty solid Orthodox Jews. Maybe they were required to feed us lunch as it was the Sabbath for them or not I don't know. We learned a lot about the religion though. Kinda cool. They aren't allowed to read from The Torah unless there are 10 guys and at least one teacher who is allowed to read it. Didn't even know that. Again nothin' really amounted to it but that's just one more good experience for those people from missionaries.

As I said this week was busy. Tuesday we had a lesson with a less active in the Singles ward. Her name is Sally and she just doesn't go to church in the summer time because of her job. And her parents are super duper Anti-Mormon. Naturally we don't meet at her house.

Wednesday we had Zone Meeting. It was a good insightful meeting. They even provided pizza. Nothin' like getting free lunch. Then afterwards we went and visited Sher in the parkview ward. Sat down and talked with her for like an hour. She's an investigator and we do lots of service for her. Like pull weeds and stuff like that.  Then we were trying by people in the YSA ward that evening and went by Emi + Willow. Emi is the guy and Willow is the girl. They are boyfriend and girlfriend and hippie as all get out. They don't seem too interested but they are cool and actually let us in and teach them.

Thursday we had a lesson with another Less active in YSA. Named Ed. He's in the army and was baptized in 2005. Now he's Pagan and doesn't go to church because all Mormons are anti military. Had a lesson with Anthony that night. He's such a flippin' stud. I think I mentioned last week how he read the Book of Mormon in like a week and prayed about every single chapter in there. He just blessed the sacrament yesterday with me and taught the gospel principles lesson yesterday as well. He's soarin'!! Also got called to be a ward missionary. We were supposed to have a lesson with Aaron Troemner but he dipped on us that night. We made up for it by having dinner with him last night though.

Friday we had another lesson with Holly. This turned into a 3 hour ordeal. She just interprets the bible so weird! She has so many concerns and stuff that we try to solve but she just doesn't get it. Like baptisms for the dead. She just thinks that's satanic because we call upon spirits and oh man it's a mess. I don't know. Then that evening we met with another Less-Active named Roy. I don't even know why that man doesn't go to church. He literally bore his testimony to us and said that he was gonna one day go to church again in a white shirt and tie.
We hopefully will meet with him some more.

Saturday was just a long day except when we got to eat lunch with Alla and fam. So was Sunday. We were at church again for 8 hours straight... no lunch.... and yeah. It's a struggle. I'm gonna just bring food and eat it during
Ward council or something next week.

Mom note:  I can't imagine why that tie was left behind....
