Cleanliness Is Next to Godliness

This week went by rather fast. Which is always welcomed. Monday we played some basketball at the church and it rained so hard. The thunder was shaking the rims... Scared me a little I'm not gonna lie. Wasn't prepared for that. My companion called it wussy thunder though as he is from West Virginia...

Tuesday was a normal day. Just went by people to find out that they aren't interested in learning about how to be saved and so that they can actually go to Heaven. And then about at 8:30pm we were just about headed back home we remembered that we had zone conference the next morning. So that means the car has to be super clean otherwise they take money from you or something or you have to park it for a week if it isn't that clean. So we hurried to the car wash and washed it real fast and Wednesday morning we vacuumed it out with the members vacuum. Then headed to the 6 hour long meeting. Well during lunch at the meeting they announce different things like the cleanest car awards... I'm sure you know where I'm going with this. Well they called 3rd place up (Obviously I wasn't expecting to go up since we only cleaned it enough to pass inspection) they got their reward and sat down. Then they announced 2nd place and called my name and my companions name. We just sat there though because it didn't register in our heads that it was us. Like I said we didn't even think we were close to winning. Well after laughing from the other missionaries and us not believing that we won we got like $30 to McDonalds.... pretty much made my day. Haha I'm almost positive that they mistook our car for someone elses because some of those missionaries went way out of their way to clean it. They put tire black on and buffed and polished their cars and we just sprayed it off the night before lol. Reminds me of the time I won first place at that Writers Festival thingy. Pretty much was the exact same thing. I guess moral of the story is that you don't have to try to hard in life. :) just kidding.

 Thursday we didn't have anything....

Friday we met with Holly again. She was like super crazy this time. Getting all offended at everything we had to say. All we said was God has a body of flesh and bone and she stood up and freaked out at us. Can't even remember why she believes that He doesn't have a body.

Saturday we spent nearly all day just doing service for people. Especially the bishop. We painted some of his fence and we are gonna go back and do some more. It's gonna take like 40 hours to paint the whole darn thing. Sunday was super long... 6 hours of church and 3 more hours of meetings. #2 areas. and that about sums up the week!!!

Thanks!!! Love you much!!
