This week went by so fast. On Monday we had Zone P-day which is more special than any other p-day I couldn't tell you why. We just played basketball and I played left handed the whole time to make it "fair." Kind of irritating but oh well. After that we went to the store and got some milk and went home. Tuesday we went back to Chelsea Place Alzheimer's. There were almost two fights over the missionaries. The old ladies there just want us for themselves I guess. One lady named Elma thought that the nurses weren't feeding us because we are Mormon. She then wanted to take us out for lunch but couldn't find her keys. Apparently she drives to Italy every weekend so she doesn't know why her keys are lost. She asked management and they just laughed and went to back to their work on their computer. Wednesday was crazy. We had appointments scheduled for almost every hour of the day. Then at dinner our 7 and 8 o clock appointments cancelled. Which was ok because there was a non member at dinner who we got to teach the restoration after we ate because of the extra time we had. Her name is Riley but unfortunately we have to pass her on to some other Elders because she doesn't live in our ward. I can't remember anything we did on Thursday besides having District Meeting. It seems like all the days blur together here so I can't really remember specifics. Friday we went back to Chelsea Place but in the afternoon so they were all sleeping or waiting for their families to come visit them. Some of them wait but they don't have family that lives near so no none comes for them... Which is sad but that's why we go over there. On Saturday we went to a members house to watch General Conference. And wow, it's so much different to watch conference on a mission. It's really spiritual and you learn a lot. Makes me realize how much more I should have payed attention all those conferences beforehand. Sunday We went and watched conference at the Anderson's house. Also members, Sister Anderson made conference treat bags. Which had a different snack in it for each of the Apostles. There were 3 mystery dum-dum suckers for the unknown apostles. The rest of the day we went and tried to contact Less Active members. Most of them weren't very receiving which is sad. But if we keep on trying there hearts will eventually be softened. My companion Elder Millburn is from Brigham City, Utah. He plays Soccer and finally got out of his boot on Thursday from a high ankle sprain. He has a sense of humor which is super good because he'd hate me if he didn't. I always tease him about this girl he likes A LOT. He says he's going to come back and see her. I said good luck... You still have a year on your mission. I guess we'll see where he ends up. The weather is bipolar. It'll rain super hard and then be sunny. It turned to fall like in one day. Now it's really chilly even though it was in the 80's on Wednesday. I guess it's like that in all the seasons. Last year they wore shorts on Christmas Day. President Mendenhall is super cool. He also has a sense of humor and likes to make jokes. I feel like he knows me personally even though there's 200 other missionaries he knows. The Zone is cool and there is an Elder who was in my zone at the MTC. His name is Elder Blacham from Houston, Texas. Our District is small I guess. There are 3 sets of missionaries in it including the Zone leaders. It seems normal to me though because I don't know anything other than a "small" district. That's the rundown of my week. Hopefully this next one will be even better.

Send me some pinenuts.. and a recipe to nuke them in the microwave so I don't destroy any of the pans we have.... Also tell Josh to get a haircut :)
The more I'm out here and the more I get to study the more I know the gospel is true. Even though there are a lot of things that we can't comprehend doesn't mean that they didn't happen or won't happen. It saddens me everyday of all the people who try to avoid the missionaries and if we could only get to talk to them a little bit they would know that all we want to do is bring happiness to them and their families. I know that God's plan is really a plan of happiness and that if we follow the gospel of Jesus Christ we can be happy forever. I hope that everyone will come to know the truthfulness of the gospel as well. .
