This week went a little slow. We had some crazy snow on Tuesday. I think like 7 inches fell from Midnight to Midnight. So lots of snow and the Mission office told us we couldn't drive our cars. But the day after we could but the roads weren't any better. Some things just bug me like that.... So in our mission cars we have Inthincs (fleet safety device) in them just like the one dad has in his work truck except not as fancy. And so it registers the speed and stuff and has one of the things in it to tell if you're driving aggresively. Well I risked it and found out that when I "drift" or power slide the car with the parking brake the Inthinc doesn't register it. So I've been able to find a little bit of joy in sliding the car around corners and the parking lots.
Also on wednesday we got a call from the Zone Leaders and they asked if we could have an extra Elder with us that whole day. Apparently some missionaries right out of the MTC headed to New Mexico had a lay over in Denver but their flights got cancelled. So one of the Elders came with us all day Wednesday waiting for his flight the next day. His name is Elder Ah Chee from Samoa. He's a stud.
Friday was busy we had a couple lessons with different investigators. None of them are progressing... Ricky in specific just won't take the leap. He knows the church is true and everything but wants to wait for the "right" time to be baptized! Frustrating but one day he will realize that he's ready....
I'm excited for this Christmas. We have the whole day just packed with different members to go to. It should be a good day.
Everybody read Luke 2; the Christmas story so that we don't forget the true meaning of Christmas! :)
