Goodbye Savory Ponds

Well this week will mark the end of a great era. MacDaddy and Fonger will no longer be together coming this Wednesday. That's so depressing to think about. We both got called to follow up train. So we are gonna go be with someone who has only been out for one transfer or 6 weeks. Hopefully it'll be good. We are both moving to a different area. So they are sweeping Savory Ponds and I think I know why. So Bro. Winfrey had a stake meeting last Sunday with all the ward mission leaders and the stake president and our zone leaders. I guess somehow it got brought up that we go over to Bro. Winfrey's every Monday night and Elder Rodriguez started chastising Brother Winfrey.... What makes me mad is that they were grilling him during that meeting but.... NO ONE EVEN APPROACHED US ABOUT IT! Like come on! The only reason we know about it is that Bro. Winfrey told us about it Monday night.... Made us so mad. But it's all well because now we are both leaving and the AP's are coming back to this ward.   So yeah. We are leaving each other. It's been fun. I could go for another while with him but it's not happening. Now I have to go pretend to know what I'm doing and give this new guy an example. It's actually rather depressing. Elder MacPherson and I love each other so much! Now lets move on before I start crying in the middle of the library.

This week we hit 20 lessons!!! That's the goal on the standards of excellence thingy. So that means we are doing something right. Tuesday we met with Bro. McDaniels. He told us some more crazy stories but his son was there. And he showed us his new invention. They're called kicksnaps. What they are is you put them on your shoes laces and instead of having to tie them all the time you just snap the plastic together and it automatically tightens the shoe. He even has a patent going for it already. Dude is gonna be rich. So when you see them hit the stores you better know that it came from Westminster Colorado and I'm one of the first wearing them. I have them on my dress shoes right now. Makes leaving people's houses so much more smooth. Then we saw the Georges that night. They are as crazy as ever. Showed up 40 mins late to the appointment. We spent that 40 mins playing with Orion and Briggs. (her two boys.) Briggs is an exact younger copy of Cooper Cavanis. Or however you spell his name. It's funny. but also kind of weird....

 Thursday we went on exchanges with the District Leader. Elder Christensen came to our ward with me. He's from Canada! We saw some people that day. Sister Amen is the most interesting. She's the one that always raves about Muslims and stuff. And her hip... . She's funny about it though. 

Friday we got to see the Mandlers. and the Greenups. All doing swell. Saw my boy Bruce again. He came to church as well. Dude is a homie! It breaks my heart to know that I won't be seeing him anymore. Oh and by the way. When we see the Greenups for the last time he's gonna call you guys. He's going to probably talk smack a lot.... and say that Nevada sucks and yeah... be prepared. He just wants to call you guys and say that I'm doing alright. So yeah... be forewarned again. 

and that's that... Sad to say goodbye to this place but not really excited to see the other one. Have to restart all over.... again. Anyways love you!
