YIKES

Well the new area is tough. Really hard actually. We ended the week with almost all 0's on numbers. Only taught one lesson to a person that probably won't get baptized. It's super small so we just walk everywhere which isn't bad. Maybe I'll lose all that water weight from savory ponds. There are lots of cool people here though which is good! I think I'll get a long with them just fine. I live with members now which isn't cool. They don't even talk to us or anything. I think the lady sent you a friend request on Facebook. I only know her as sister Easton.

The new companion is great though! He's from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He's 22 years old. And dude didn't stop playing video games if his life depended on it. I think that's all he talks about. Don't remember a conversation we've had that hasn't been about video games or his future wife. And by conversation I mean him talking the whole time. He's pretty chill except he thinks every girl here is cute.... Oh boy. I guess there's no variety in Canada ;) He's pretty green. All he wants to do is knock on doors because he thinks that's the best way to find new people to teach. So that's pretty much what we've done since we've been together is tracting. Also he doesn't know how to teach. I now know how Elder Millburn felt when I was first with him. He drops things like Adam and Eve were created on the 6th creationary period and that we will be gods one day and that Jesus Christ suffered for everyone's sins in all the worlds in the universe. YIKES. So we are slowly working on that but overall he knows his stuff unlike I did at first. Also needs to work on knowing the bible as well. It's the most embarrassing thing when people say we don't believe in the bible and we say we do but can't support it because we know nothing in the bible. That's a hint of course for Josh when he goes on mission :)

As far as training it's really easy actually. All I do is give advice. We are suppose to do this 12 week program thing which slowly transitions him into the lead. But dude talks enough that he takes the lead in pretty much everything we do. So yeah.... and he's not afraid of anything. Except when we tract into a pretty girl... smh. Oh, our only normal conversation was me telling him America is the best and that he should move here.

Wow! Congrats to cousins Mike!!! Good for him :)

Well there was absolutely nothing going on in the new area. I guess this area just reopened 4 or 5 months ago and there is legit no one to teach except two people. And they probably aren't gonna get baptized in my opinion. We still teach them though because I don't want our records to be straight 0's at the end of the week. We met a few people and said that we could come back the next week. Hopefully they let us in so that we can have a quick lesson. And that's about all I have. There's no interesting stories.... Well actually. We met a kid name Carston playing with his robot in the street. He programmed it himself and controls it by a USB controller from his laptop that he can hook wirelessly to the robot. It was pretty sick I'm not going to lie. It was just built from scratch from a power wheels car thing. like those electric cars little kids drive around. I spent a lot of time talking to him to catch a break from the ol' companion. There are some cool members that we talked to but can't remember their names for the life of me. Just missin' Elder MacPherson and the Savory Ponds ward.

My Testimony of the Book of Mormon has grown so much. It's super cool when you have the time to sit down and read the bible and the Book of Mormon together to see all the similarities and stuff like that. Never had the time to do that before. But I don't know. The Book of Mormon is truly a life changer I guess. :)
