Tuesday we went and dropped him off at the mission home. It was a long drive up and a long drive back to just drop someone off. We shoulda just made him ride the busses or something. But I was thankful for the change of pace in things. Wasn't pounding on doors that whole day. #blessings. I stayed with the zone leaders for lunch then went with Ponderosa for dinner. Then we moved into our new home. Its a small place but I like it. It's a super nice house.
Wednesday was transfer day. It was so cold outside waiting for the transfer van to come and drop everyone off and pick people up. But nevertheless it came right on time. I don't know why we didn't just sit in the cars.... Oh well it's in the past. Elder Haws is cool. He's pretty laid back and a good guy. He's funny and we get along great with each other so that's a blessing. No arguments of come up as of yet. We had dinner with the Hodges that night. They even made a full meal this time for being poor newly weds. Last time we had pizza! They were cool and brother Hodges was showing us his new toys he built... IE an AR-15 and what not.
Thursday we had a meeting talking about the easter initiative. Watched the video and got stuff all laid out. We've been sharing that thing like crazy. Handing out cards like candy spreading the word like wild fire.... It's a good video too I like it. We also met an apostate women that day. She invited us in which sometimes your are a little apprehensive to. But she told us she was wrongly excommunicated because she was teaching people in Sunday school about how the prophets in the past have made changes that they weren't supposed to and I asked her how she knew they weren't supposed to... All she came up with was some quote from joseph smith saying something about the temple. Very weird acting too.... She said we could come back and meet her husband and normally would've jumped on that but I'll probably never see them again. We had dinner with the Kinslow family that night. Then we went home because poor Elder Haws was not doing so well. He doesnt' have the greatest Immune system I guess.
Friday was laid back. We did some planning then went out tracting but didn't have any luck there. People were generally nice though. Had dinner with Sister Jones. and then visited some people after dinner with no answer. And it started to snow so we headed home.
Saturday we watched conference all day long... And had dinner with Brother Spackman who then we watched priesthood session with and ate brownies and ice cream after.
Sunday was much the same. We tracted for about an hour before dinner and found a few people that said we could come back. Dinner was brought to us but I didn't eat too much of it. Seemed sketchy to me.... Green potatoes and "pink stuff" for dessert .I quote that's what they called it. I think it was just a bunch of Gogurt poured into a bowl with strawberries.
