Tuesday I don't remember much of. I just remember that we actually taught a lesson that day. It was so legit. Like we got to teach all the Restoration with no one trying to bash us... no one trying to prove us wrong... just a straight up lesson. Although it was to a guy who says, "I will not go swimming with you guys" It was still a good refresher to be able to just... teach. The sun will always come out! Don't you worry... :)
Wednesday we were on exchanges. Elder Haws went with Elder Curtis in the Ponderosa ward for half the day and we swapped halfway through so we didn't go crazy just sitting there to someone talking to us about video games being "sick." It was a good day. Had Totinos pizzas for dinner. Haven't had one of those bad boys in a longggg time.
Thursday we had district meeting. Survived that and only two more to go this transfer. It was a good day of tracting up until it started raining real good. We saw the big nasty clouds in the distance and my heart just dropped... Then it hit us and we took refuge into Del Taco where the members met us and we just had dinner there. It was a good one. Then we went on splits that night and it was so awkward. I went wiht a guy to go teach his family. We showed up and it was only his wife. He sat on the same couch as me as well so it was just us and her and I was like what is going on? and it was really really weird and not good when he went upstairs to grab the baby.... uhhh so it was just me and her in the living room...
Friday we were very cold. It was windy and rainy all day long. Quite miserable. We even had a cop come talk to us. He asked if we were going door to door and I thought he was just asking in general and so I said yes then he went into you have to have a permit and all this. First time out here anyone has brought that up. I think my certificate thing can pass as a permit but he didn't ask to see one so that's good. Elder Haws didn't have his on him either... we could've gone to jail or something haha!
Saturday we woke up to two inches of snow on the ground...but by the time we left it was raining and all snow was melted. It was cold then the sun came out and we were dying it was so hot outside. I think it was only about 50 degrees or so but with a jacket and stuff on it gets quite toasty. We took shelter under a picnic table place at a park and we saw a member walking down the bike path. Turns out he was on his way home from Walmart and he gave us some ice cream sandwiches. Never was life so good as at that moment. We saw the Rectors that night but they were acting a little funny. They weren't drunk but it seemed like they were a little buzzed. Guess we won't see them on the Weekends anymore. Or maybe it was the weekend that made them seem more happy than normal...
Sunday was a good day of meetings. Nothing spectacular happened that day. And that's a week at a glance! Love you!
