So guess what? I was at a member's house last night for FHE. They're the Anderson's and they remind me ALOT of our family. Except there is 4 girls and two boys. But they're all a year apart in age. We were all telling stories that happened as a kid and I told them the story where you threw the vegetable chopper at me and how you lied to the doctor. Don't be surprised if CPS shows up at the door :)

This week went really well. I don't feel as overwhelmed as I did at first. One of the highlights of this week was when we went to the Assisted Living place for people with dementia and Alzheimers. They are the sweetest people alive. They will literally tell you the same exact story in a loop 10 or 12 times over. One of the ladies asked me if I was the boy they used to sneak out with and go dancing every Saturday night. I told her no and I guess no means yes or something. Because she was super excited and wanted to dance with me. She was in a wheelchair.... And she thought she was in Kansas. It was really funny and I can't wait to go back. We go two times a week for an hour or two at a time.

We teach the Ranisate family. There are two little boys and two little girls. We went over there Friday night to have dinner and teach them the plan of salvation, but their dog went into labor so we couldn't teach the lesson. They go around the state and rescue animals and foster them until they can find a home for them. They are an awesome family and Isaac one of the little boys is in love with star wars. We have lightsaber fights everytime we go over to their house. I love getting to know families and being able to relate with them.

I'm still not very good at teaching though. It seems like my companion talks the whole time while I'm still trying to keep up. There's a lot to practice and even more to learn. My first Sunday was cool too. Everyone is so friendly to the Elders. I feel like I'm at home. They even introduced me in sacrament meeting. It was another missionaries farewell. His name is Bryce, well Elder Ipson now. He asked me if it was weird because it was me only 3 weeks earlier. Let me tell you, it feels like it's been months since I gave that talk but he's right. It's been 3 weeks. I'm serving the the Cherry Creek ward in the Denver Stake. The ward is actually located in Aurora. And apparently this is the nice part of town because the rest of Aurora is really ghetto. I don't know since I haven't been anywhere else yet.

I guess to send me stuff you send it to the mission office so that they forward it to our apartment because we change and everything. And they say to send it through USPS so that we don't have to wait until transfers to pick up any packages. The address is 1250 Main St. Broomfield CO 80020. I couldn't tell you the address of our apartment though. I'm still lost and couldn't find my way around if my life depended on it. All is well here and hopefully all is well there too. Love you!

Oh and one more interesting encounter. I guess there are a lot of teenagers who go to this Christian college that like to mess with the Missionaries. So we came across one of them either thursday or friday. I can't remember. Well since I have no idea what I'm doing yet my companion talked to him the whole time. This kid was just out to try and prove that our stuff wasn't real. And he kept saying stuff about how his teachers have PhD's and how we have no legit people to back us up. Well my companion just very boldly said that we have a Prophet who talks to God himself and receives revelation to guide the church. Obviously he said it very different than that but the point is the same. Needless to say this kid took a Book of Mormon and seemed more interested in the Church. I don't know how it'll end up but that seed was planted.

This is Elder Blake. His name is Zach and we went to George Washington together

This is my district from the MTC. The black guy is Elder Baldwell, Pink tie is Elder Hedman, They guy with the suit is Elder McBride. The very Right is Elder Salmon. Blue tie is Elder Coleman.
