At Least There's Basketball....

Nope things are definitely not looking up. It was even all foggy and depressing this morning. Still is actually... pretty much the icing on the cake. Yep... fun stuff down here in Denver.  

Glad to hear that Jessica is doing alright though!!!! 

I tried to play the organ the other day before Zone Meeting. Yikes.... So hard without the cheater peddle that makes everything sound good no matter what,  like on the piano. Hahaha! Mom you sound like my companion. He got an injury from waking up too early.... I don't think he's liking me too much. I just basically tell him to suck it up. We can't sleep in every day!!! Also something about his jaw and that he needs to go to the chiropractor and his neck. I said I could give it my best shot... he hasn't let me get close since.  I hope all is well though so you can keep on playing!!! :) 

I got sunburned too! Who knew that you could get sunburned as a missionary!! I guess I'm not protected from everything. 

Colorado pride is real over here. Didn't know anyone besides Texas had state pride. Stickers everywhere that say "Native" on them as in Colorado Native. Haha some people are just crazy. 

Oh man this week was super long.... It didn't pick up until Saturday morning where we got to go play some basketball in the morning. Again my companion didn't like it but it's good for him. Maybe he'll stop complaining about walking if he realizes it could get worse xD. We could play basketball every morning....  

Lets see.... we had Zone Meeting on Thursday which was not fun. Probably felt like the longest meeting I've been to yet. Even though we only went over 15 mins this time. One thing they told us though that made me kind of upset is that we aren't allowed to chat over email anymore. So basically I have nothing to do except write this super long letter to you Mom. I don't even know what the big deal is but I'm not the boss so yeah.... 

Can't remember which night it was but there was a night at dinner where Brother Alcantara showed us his knives. He has some pretty cool knives. And then he went and got his bow. He said that one day I could come over and shoot it because after all it doesn't say in the handbook that we can't shoot bows. Only firearms.  I'm definitely gonna take him up on that. Something to relieve the stress with. 

Saturday afternoon we had lunch with my favorite family. The Struhs family. They're super Star Wars nerds and stuff. Brother Struhs and his son Jake go to comic-con every year. And fly to Florida and stuff for Star Wars Conventions. They're funny. He showed us some of his snakes. He has 15 pet snakes and like 4 lizards. Two cats and a bunny and a chicken. Crazy family but awesome. 

and that about sums up my week! Havin' a blast! Trying to anyway.
