Someone the other day was asking me if my family was big into motorcycles... my response was no. Then I corrected myself and said, "Actually yeah, only because I left though. They didn't get any until I left for my mission" So maybe I'm a little jealous you guys get to go do that. Actually I'm just jealous that you can go to the mountains. There is no mountains in our mission. Well now there is because they changed the mission boundaries. We have annexed the Parker South Stake and the Boulder Stake. So maybe there's actual mountains in our mission now. Crossing my fingers...
This week was a lot better. Well not that much better but it wasn't the worst week ever. Monday we still didn't get to go play sports. I think my companion is just a wuss and like does his laundry in 6 loads so we don't have to. Oh well. He's leaving so can't do anything about it now.
Tuesday we didn't have much going on and same with Wednesday. We had interviews with President on Wednesday. Went well... He asked if Parkview should have missionaries. I pretty much straight up told him if it were my call I'd have missionaries somewhere else. So I was expecting to leave but I'm still here. Guess there's still something I need to accomplish here.
Thursday I can't remember what we did. I think we stopped by a family and actually got a lesson with them. Just because the home teachers were already there.... but hey. We'll take what we can get.
Friday we had our weekly lesson with Holly. That lesson was all over the place as usual. We went through the articles of faith with her. She loved them. Also listened to a talk called 17 points of the true church with her.
Saturday we spent pretty much the whole day doing service. Moving and digging holes and such. It was a good hard day. Slept good that night.
Sunday we had a few lessons. We went tracting as well and someone was like "sure, come on in" and we were like what?? is this real? and we taught them and he took a Book of Mormon and told us to come back. Like what the heck?? That never happens. Yesterday we did like a mission 5k thing. We all went up north and as a zone had a 5k race. We were the first zone to finish. Cause we are the best obviously. It wasn't a true 5k though. I think it was more like a mile and a half. Then we went to the park and had a BBQ the rest of the day with some members. It was fun!
