My companion is doing good!!! I'm afraid too many people are giving him compliments though.... He is a good guy but everything something good said to him immediately goes to his head. It's quite a problem. Last night we were at dinner and he literally talked the whole time about how he's super smart and a good missionary and that Canada is awesome especially Alberta. Alberta is like 90% of Canada's economy and oh boy.... That's about all his problems are. Finally took him down to my level of understanding the gospel though. I was like you literally can't go around telling people this because no one will listen to you... just super deep stuff I didn't even know until he told me.
The potato gun huh? I helped someone here fix their's up. They had like the exact same set up as us. But they didn't do a threaded end for the cap. it was just a normal one and I was like how does that even work? they said it didn't.... the cap just flies off instead of the potato shooting out. Told them to get the threaded end pipe and the whole schpeel. Hopefully it's working out for them. Haven't helped with any bottle launchers though yet. It is just turning to summer. Hopefully we'll see someone so I have an excuse to get all wet :) we pretty much stop at every house with someone playing basketball outside of it and I shoot some hoops with them. Beats tracting any day!!!
Tye still rockin' the piano huh? That's good that's good. Better off than me already. and Yes I attempted the organ because of the one lesson I had with Cat. Didn't remember jack about all the buttons and sounds but I did remember that you have to play it super smooth. And the pedals are super hard. That hasn't changed....
Haha Gavin!!! They don't look half bad!! (about his braces) and good at least you matched them to something!!! :) now we need to do something with that hair.... Oh and please let Josh do something funny!!! (About his upcoming wisdom tooth extraction) I wanna see it hahaha.
Ye get to go to the temple every 3 months or so. It's an adventure. Went like 2 weeks ago where I got to see my boy Elder MacPherson. We talked the whole time about how we miss each other. Shelby looks good!!! That's so exciting that she's out now!! who's the next one on the list?? Eric?? I think someone told me that he is getting his papers together....
This week has totally picked up since the last ones. Tuesday was slow but Wednesday we had exchanges. Elder Wohlrab came to Parkview with me. I was feeling lazy during planning so I said that were just gonna tract the whole day and we did! It wasn't that bad at all too! Only got like 3 people who were semi interested but what's to be expected right? He's a funny kid. He only said like 3 words the whole day to someone other than me though. Even during dinner....
Thursday was cool. We took out a youth with us to go hit up some doors. Don't think he enjoyed it but didn't say he hated it either! We took another youth out the next day as well. He's probably my favorite. His name is Scott. He's just so loose and chilled out. Rocks the bow tie as well. Talked with our investigator Holly on Friday as well. She just wanted to be nourished by the good word of God because she was having a bad week. So that's what we did. Talked about the sons of Helaman. (idk how to spell it and neither does google)
Got a few more lessons on Saturday. Helped a new family move in and stuff. Sunday was super long. Ward Council at 7:15 in the morning!!! Ayyyyy vamos. We were like 40 mins late and still didn't talk about missionary stuff. . Gave my talk yesterday as well. Everyone said they liked it but were probably just being nice. I was even bored giving it...It was 20 mins of just dragged on stories.... hah. And today we are just gonna do some laundry. Maybe go play bball at the church. Got my companion hooked on it. :)
