Yeah this week was better. Didn't have too many appointments in the first place for people to cancel. So we didn't have to deal with all that stuff.
Tuesday we had an appointment with that same PMF (part member family) but they cancelled and moved to Wednesday so frustrating haha. We went out to Barr Lake and helped out move some poles and stuff so that they can make a random teepee out there. Mowed the lawn and stuff. We had a lesson with Bro. Johnson again. He is so cool!!! He wants so bad to come back to church but his wife is a punk. I dislike her a lot. She's so lazy, we were sitting there talking and she told him that he's being too serious about life right now and just needs to enjoy. I don't know a happier man than Bro. Johnson. And now they are moving just because she wants too... what the heck? Now he's all stressed because of it and it's just a mess. We also saw Brother Huff again. Everytime he sees us he throws up his arms and probably mutters to himself "not again." But he's super nice and talks to us for a while. Until we start to say he needs to come to church then all of the sudden he has to get ready to go throw horseshoes over in Northglenn. Hasn't been to church in like 60 years.
Wednesday we went back out to Barr Lake and are finishing the trail that we started last week. Compacting it and all that jazz. Well then we didn't really have anything else that day. Except for Stephanie and Danny... those punks forgot we were coming again. So they said that they wouldn't forgot on Friday and that they would make us dinner. We went to the Jeffereys again and watched a little of the Olympics.
Thursday was Zone Meeting. I think we spent like the first 35 mins of the zone leaders chastising us. That was fun. Elder Vaoifi thinks he can just say stuff because he goes home in 2 weeks. and we only had a 15 min lunch. Man oh man.... I didn't even get my afternoon nap in.
Oh I forgot to say too. That morning we got a rabbit in the backyard. The Gagons don't like the rabbits in their backyard so we are the bunny exterminators. But we use rocks and shovels instead of a gun over here in Colorado. It causes less attention that way. Silent but deadly.
Friday we helped out Paul again. Made like 15 dozen tamales this time. He sells them $12 each. basically the only income he has nowadays. But as we walked in he borrowed like $70 from his dad and bought two 12" subwoofers and amp off another Mexican dude. I don't think he has his priorities straight.... I don't think he even knows how to put them in either... We spent most of the rest of the day tracting. And had dinner with Danny and Stephanie. They actually remembered (so they say) she said she got a late start on dinner. It will be about 30 mins. So we had a lesson while she was cooking and he accepted baptism. That was a shot in the dark really. He's a guy if pushed too hard will stop talking to us. So now we just take it super slow with him and let him gain a testimony first.
Saturday I got my mop chopped off. It's been like two and a half months since my last haricut.... yikes. But it's short again and I feel like a new person. No doubt can jump higher and run faster now too. We saw Sister Van Diver. She's still cranky as all get out. Hates life and Brighton all at the same time. She told us that she's out as soon as her lease is up on the house. Yeah... that's always fun. Then we saw my boy Albert again. He just doesn't care about anything. Just sits at home and plays with his grandkids and great grandkids all day. He's like 73 years old. That's the life right there man. We went to Brother Findleys that night and went over the ward mission stuff with him.
Sunday was uneventful didn't have any lessons and didn't go over to the Giffords either because they were out of town. So it dragged by but P-day was the only thing keeping me going.
