Who's Diana Ross?

So basically what the missionaries are doing is gonna have a lame fall carnival. (Zone Leaders idea.) I mean how are missionaries gonna have this Halloween party if there is no music... nothing to do because we are too broke to buy anything and especially when they told us not to bring costumes. Like huh? Then we have to be in the house by 7pm. So that's fun. We won't get any trick or treaters because we are in an apartment building. Not sure what they do in downtown. A week or so ago they had a zombie crawl. Basically they shutdown the 16th street mall from busses and cars and have people dress up like zombies and act like zombies down the road and everyone else dresses up as hunters and they just have fun and play. You'd think it'd end up in a riot but it seems to be a very passive event. 

Oh man Theo.... Basically without being mean, he used us to get away from the Catholic Church and doesn't believe in Jesus Christ. And that's that. 

Talk about long weeks. This sure was one of them. Tuesday was alright we did some more service at the food bank. Super chillaxed this time because there wasn't like a kilo ton of food. moved a few boxes and yeah. We saw Mike again. He was having a bad day because his roommate took and got his bike stolen. Then his boss made him spray his house for bugs.... yikes. Better go wash my clothes now too. Dinner from chipotle which we had to go pick up at the sisters' apartment. Which was super awkward but it's free food. 

Wednesday we had District meeting. Elder Watkins (the district leader) decorated the whole place with Halloween stuff but then the Zone Leaders showed up. They didn't appreciate it but I thought it was awesome. I love Elder Watkins hahaha. We were supposed to meet that one dude in the park again but I decided against it. Mainly for self protection. My companion wanted to go though. So we walked passed but didn't see him so that's good. We also spent like a million hours getting to an appointment just to have her tell us she doesn't feel good at the door. She never answers her phone so it's just so hard with this lady. She's nice though. 

Thursday we spent all morning helping a less active guy move. We showed up but nothing was packed... ugh. So we watched him pack then we'd take it to the truck.... frustrating. Had dinner again with Blackham's. Found out that Sister Blackham was friends with Michael Jackson. Went on a 3 week yacht trip with him and Dianna Ross? idk her though. Friday we had a trainers meeting to go to. Saw some of my friends that I came out with. Elder Melville saw all his MTC buds again so that was cool. Had dinner with Bro. Moffet and he took us to a restaraunt. There was another guy there. Name is Joseph and it was so awkward. Because they both are like super deaf and were both flirting with the waitress and ayyyy. She just kept lookin' at us like. How do you even know these two guys? hahaha. 

Saturday we spent all day again moving that guy. Oh boy it was so nasty this time around though. I didn't realize how much dust and hair and stuff there was the first time. So we went home and took showers after. He was super cool though. Gave us dinner. We got some Domino's pizza. Chicken bacon and white sauce! Only the best. 

Sunday we had church. One of the Sisters' investigator's got up and bore his testimony cause it was testimony meeting. It was pretty good too. Kept telling everyone he wished the elders would teach him instead. I guess we are that cool. The library lady just handed me candy and said Happy Halloween. Not everyday you can eat M&M's in the library!!!! Well yeah so that was this week. Nothin' too crazy happened. It was kinda slow but, hey, that means next week can only get better and crazier! Right?? Let the holidays begin! I'm so excited!
