So yeah, Wednesday we had Zone Conference. I guess there are some big changes happening in the Daily missionary schedule. Changes don't happen until this next Wednesday however which is when we are attending another World Wide Missionary Broadcast. Basically the same things we accomplish now (i.e. studies, lunch, dinner etc...) will still happen just now there are no set times to when we have to do them. We are in complete control of when things happen. It's coo, l makes me feel like a bit more of a grown up now. That and P-day we now start at 8am instead of 10am. So two more hours to ball hard out there on the bball court right???
After the broadcast we went tracting and we actually found someone! Her name is Lyn. We taught her about the Plan of Salvation and she said that we could come back! We set up an appointment for the Saturday but then she was busy and had to cancel. I'm just pumped we found someone who wasn't telling us not interested and nice! Hard to find those combos. Had dinner with King family. Some dang good Elk Steaks. Elder Sato was a fan he loved them and even had two. Afterwards we just went home. We did get to ride in his undercover Mustang cop car thing though. He uses it mostly for search and rescue.
Thursday we went tracting all morning but no one is usually home at that time in the day so we didn't get many answers and when we did they were Catholic or didn't speak English. I guess there is a lot of diversity here in Parker. Not as much as downtown but it's quite a bit. Went home for lunch went and stopped by Danny again whom we woke up at 1pm. He was like that's why I keep you guys around so you can wake me up when it's afternoon time. He keeps everything so dark in his apartment you couldn't tell if it was morning or night time. We talked more about Faith and told him to read Alma 32. Hopefully he'll do that. Then we had dinner twice. One with some members and the other with Mia, an investigator. It was good. Poor Elder Sato can't eat that much.
Friday we didn't have much happen. A lot of tracting but I learned some more of Familyhistory. We had dinner with the Harrison's who showed us some stuff. I think that's the first time since mutual that I had logged into FamilySearch hahaha. It's crazy though since Elder Sato's parents are converts he has next to no one in his genealogy page thingy.
Saturday we went and tried by Julie who again was busy. After Lunch we were supposed to go to Lyn but she texted us and said she was busy. So we went and stopped by a Part member family but the non member husband comes to church every week and is more active than most members. They were super nice. Then we stopped by the Nielson family. He showed his motorcycle. It's called a Hyabusa (隼) that whole thing says hyabusa by the way. It's from the alphabet called Kanji. It's a falcon or something that can go over 200 mph so as such the bike can go that fast too..... i want one.
Sunday we had regular church things. Meetings and dinner. We also went and attended "It's Great to be Eight"!!! We talked to the kids getting baptized this year why they should invite their friends to their baptisms. We told them so that they can feel the spirit but left off the part so hopefully they want to get baptized in our church too.
Well happy p-day to you! By the way I'm not sure if they are changing our p-day to Wednesdays but next week our p-day is Wednesday and they told me to tell you to start expecting emails on Wednesdays or something. So here's for another long flippin' week!
