Oh πŸ‹

Well I started this week off not good. Tuesday morning I woke up with like the biggest sore throat possible I swear. I couldn't talk or even sit up in bed without my head pounding. So we didn't get much done that day. Had dinner but we ate real quick and got out of there as to not get them sick. Shoulda probably just stayed home though. Oh πŸ‹.

Wednesday we had zone conference. It was alright if I wasn't having to suck down cough drops the whole time. I coudln't focus either and was super hot. I swear I was getting the flu or something but I'm alright now so it wasn't anything too serious I don't think. It was all about the Book of Mormon and reading it and how to apply to real life situations. We did a 63 day challenge which I did indeed complete. I had to read about 45 pages the last day to catch up but it worked out in the end. It's on average like 8.5 pages a day or something like that. We weren't able to do dinner that night though because the family was all sick. So we just hung out at home taking it easy trying to feel better.

Thursday I felt a lot better so we did some missionary things. Namely lots of Tracting and stuff. Oh it was a blast. No one interesting came up it was just a lot of uninterested people... Had pizza for dinner with a newly wed couple. My companion doesn't like pizza at all so he wasn't all that excited. I thought it was amazing though. Especially the day after eating it cold with some BBQ sauce. Tasted like heaven to me. We did splits that night as well. Except it wasn't really splits we just went with a ward missionary to a members house to do the ward mission plan thing and I talked the whole time because E. Christensen doesn't know it all too well yet and the member we went with kinda just kicks back and lets the full-timers do it.... Ayy. Don't be like that πŸΈ

Friday we went to the library to do this end of mission plan thingy for Elder Christensen. He just answers a lot of these reflection questions about the person you've become and stuff like that. It's also supposed to help you come up with a plan for when you go home too. Then we did weekly planning until dinner time. Who they just brought dinner to us. But they brought this fruit as well and it was like a yellow-orange color we had no idea what it was as we were eating it. The inside was super white but had the consistency of an apple. My ompanion was like it's an Apple Pear! I told him to be quiet and cease such foolishness because what the heck? And apple pear? So I texted sister Leon and she said it was an apple pear.... The humiliation....  afterward we went and stopped by like 10 people but no one answered or had the flu. So we didn't get to teach anyone then either.

Saturday was one long day let me tell ya. All day of just straight knocking on doors. And we were only able to give away one book of mormon to a lady who to told us not to come back. What even is the point? hahaha. And one lady answered the door I said, "Hey! How's it going?" and she said, "Hey!!!....... Bye!" it made me kinda mad. So I was like but we just got here! and she didn't like that one, and slammed the door. We didn't have dinner either but luckily I had some cold pizza left over! Then we went to Stake Conference where Bishop Wadell came and spoke. He's in the presiding bishopric or something like that.

Sunday we went to the general session of Stake Conference. That went well I thought too. Bishop Wadell again threw down for not home teaching. I'm thinking that there will be an increase of home teaching. Afterwards we had lunch with Brother Anderson but his wife was out of town and so we just made ourselves sandwiches and he let the kids do whatever because he was tired of always telling them not to do stuff. After we went home for a bit to change out of our suits and stuff then we had dinner with the Hanlin family where we ate like a million baked potatoes.

Monday we had a fun long pday of hiking in a canyon. It was a lot of fun actually I was kinda sour at first because why would I want to go walk for fun when I walk all day every day during the week? We had dinner with the Harrison's who made sooo much food for foru people. like 25 pieces of chicken and 20 baked potatoes... I don't know what was up haha. Then we saw Brother Rector who is slowly recovering from his Cancer and radiation stuff. He is barely getting his voice back. You can kind of hear the squeak of some vocal cords trying to work.
