Short Week!

Well this week was celestial in my eyes! Nothing like a short week. Feels like one of those 2 days weeks back in high school! So Wednesday last week we were supposed to have dinner with Bro Anderson but his son got the flu so we stayed away. Then we were asked to help move someone. We were told it would maybe take 30 mins but 2 and a half hours later we finally finished. We literally moved only 6 items but there were too many Chiefs and not enough Indians in my eyes. No two of the furniture Items were a beast to get up some stairs that had the smallest landing I've ever seen in my life. No lie it was tiny! Trying to get this monstrous bookcase/drawer dresser thingy up it. Hopefully I'm getting transferred before we have to take it back down though. It's for a lady who hops between houses so eventually it's gonna have to be moved.

Thursday was good. We were supposed to have District Meeting at 10:30 but there was so much ice on the roads from the fog of the night before that the mission grounded cars until like 11 or something. So we had a quick district meeting and went on our way. It was like 55 degrees and sunny too!!! We were walking in a neighborhood on our way to drop by someone and saw that Matthew was out in his garage so we stopped by to say hi. He wasn't drunk this time so we had a nice sober talk with him. He talked about growing up and his life story. Dude has been through some rough things. Then afterward we went to dinner with the Leavitt family. They are super awesome and fed us some super good pork and rice. Did you know that they sell Famous Daves BBQ sauce in bottles????? I've gotta score me some of that today at the store or something. Then afterwards we showed up to the church to do splits but no one else showed up so we just walked home.

Friday we had weekly planning. Ate lunch then went out tracting for a bit. It wasn't bad. People were nice to us because it was again sunny and warm which makes everyone feel good not just the missionaries. Nothin' much else happened that day.

Saturday we stopped by some people that we talked to a week previously but nothin' came of it. We tracted some more. Had the rest of District Meeting which just turned into two hours of talking and saying goodbye to Sister Dennis from Winnemucca. I todl her to say hi to Spring Creek for me if she gets a chance. Had dinner with the Browning family where we helped make some Guacamole and cookies! Turned out to be pretty good.

Sunday we had regular meetings and stuff. We had dinner at 3pm with a family where the mom is from the ukraine. Naturally we had a Ukranian meal. It was super good I don't know what it was called but the soup was blood red. They also gave us some russian candy. After that we went home and did some studies and whatnot and prepared for P-day.

So it was a slow 4 days but it was awesome.

This is the district!
Elder Scott, Elder Toomer, Elder Sato, Sister Dennis, Me, and Sister Taylor!!!
