Monday was dope! We accidentally left the mission though. I kinda thought we would but like Patrick Star said, "Ignorance is bliss." We went to the mountains and hiked around a bit. We didn't pay the state park fee either. Breaking mission rules and the law. Oopsies. But we all took the sacrament and forsook our sins and are better now.
Tuesday was exchanges. The DL came to our area with me. We tracted all day long with no fruits. It wasn't so bad though since it was someone new to talk to with new stories and I can retell all my stories. Bingo was a party. There were soooooo many people there. Like no joke we probably had as many people playing bingo as there are people that show up to Sacrament meeting in the YSA ward. We need a Old Single Adult Ward started so we can get our numbers up... We met with Anthony that night who was not in a good mood. Him and his GF fought all day sounds like. And he didn't get baptized which is for the better because I was feeling quite uncomfortable with baptizing him as unstable as he is.
Wednesday good. District meeting was fun. We had lunch with Corina that day and had Walking Tacos. Where you put the taco stuff in a little chip bag and shake it up. It was pretty dang good and genius. Nothin' too exciting happened that day so I won't bore you with details.
Thursday was a little more exciting. After tracting all day long we finally found someone! Except he wanted to bash with us... A little excitement was over due by the time this happened. He was a nice gent. Kept trying to tell us about our beliefs and that's one thing I don't like. Is what people tell me I believe. Poor guy was shaking though whenever he started talking. We left on good terms that neither one of us are going to convert. And then that was it for that day.
Friday we didn't do anything. Except for Service and planning and a interview with president Savage. Sister Savage is definitely not Sister Mendenhall. She came to the interview and threw down on us and our Area Book. It was not a pleasant surprise. Then she got mad at us for not having a part member family list... in the YSA ward. hmm... Someone thinks a little fast haha ;) But she was full of good advice and that's what matters.
Saturday was another day of nothing. We finished planning. Had a meeting. did some studies and then we had a blitz in our ward. We split off with different companions. I went with Elder Bake. Probably my best friend out here. I've spent 44 weeks of my mission in the same zone as him. We had a grand ol' time out tractin' with eachother. Then we went to dinner with a member that Brammer knew from an old area. She fed us sushi. It was pretty good. Tasted a little... fishy though if you ask me ;) Then we tracted a little bit and went to coldstone to get some ice cream.
Sunday the highlight was our meeting with Anthony where we met with him for about 2 hours and he unloaded his concern with the godhead. Finally we understand his concern and hopeuflly go about fixing or destroying it. But only time will tell and he will only be here for like 3 more weeks. Anyways. That's me this week. Love you!
