MMMMM Luau Pork

Thanksgiving was so much fun! It was so relaxed and laid back from our usual day. We basically just hung out with the members all day. We ate so much food though... Ended up having like 5 dinners. Well, the Vea family pretty much counts as a dinner never ending. They're still sending us left overs. We have food for days. They also made us sing Karaoke to Let It Go and Do you Wanna Build a Snowman. It was just a big party at the church. Can't remember if I said this last week but they don't do turkey on Thanksgiving. They cook a whole pig. Actually they cooked 3 pigs this year. They told us that turkey is just a side dish for them. I should've taken a picture of all the food. I think that every family brought a whole thanksgiving meal. There were like 15 families there.... So you can imagine how big it was...

I've got plenty more selfies I can send... :) So hopefully that'll be better than nothing.

Most likely I'll be staying in this area for the next transfer but Elder Millburn will be leaving. I guess Pres Mendenhall never keeps people together more than two transfers. Which makes sense but also kind of silly to me. Hopefully my next companion will be as cool as mine is now.

This week was pretty slow with it being Thanksgiving and all. But I did get to go on exchanges with the Zone Leaders. That was pretty cool.

It snowed quite a bit last night which was surprising. No one warned us and so when we walked out of dinner it was snowing really hard. It's been below freezing since last Monday which is a bummer because the snow is too powdery to throw snowballs... White washing my companion with the snow has been something to keep me from going bonkers doing the same thing every day. Only have to keep it up for the next two years.... Not too hard. Hopefully.

So yesterday a new christmas video came out. You can find it at christmas.mormon.org It's a super short video that you can share with your friends. We are going to use it a lot with members and other people. It's like the Becauseofhim and heisthegift videos of Easter and Christmas last year. I really like the video hopefully you will too. :)
